Approach to Therapy:
I am a licensed psychologist with many years of experience providing psychotherapy and consultation across outpatient, hospital, institutional, and court-related settings. My primary professional identity is as a clinician, with a longstanding commitment to helping adults understand and address psychological difficulties that affect relationships, work, identity, and overall well-being.
My clinical work has focused on individuals experiencing mood and anxiety disorders, trauma-related symptoms, personality dynamics, and serious mental illness. I approach psychotherapy as a collaborative process that emphasizes careful listening, thoughtful formulation, and respect for each person’s developmental history, internal experience, and relational context. I am particularly interested in helping patients make sense of longstanding patterns, navigate periods of transition or crisis, and develop greater flexibility and self-understanding.
Throughout my career, I have worked within complex systems of care, including correctional and court-related environments. While a portion of my work has involved forensic and court-based evaluation, this experience has primarily informed my broader clinical perspective—particularly around treatment planning for individuals with psychological and relational challenges.
In private practice, I work with adults seeking psychotherapy for difficulties related to relationships, identity, work, trauma, and emotional well-being.
