Therapy Approach

My approach is individualized using DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Motivational Interviewing, and Gestalt Therapy. My approach focuses on creating a calming and trusting environment first. In this world it is so hard to find connections, and feeling heard can be so difficult. That is why I spend a lot of time building rapport and listening empathetically.

Approaches I Use

DBTDialectical Behavior Therapy skills for emotion regulation and relationships.
CBTCognitive Behavioral Therapy for reshaping unhelpful thought and behavior patterns.
Motivational InterviewingStrengthening your own motivation for change.
GestaltHeightening awareness of what you are experiencing right now.
