Terms of Use

These terms explain how you may use the Boston Evening Therapy Associates website. Last updated October 15, 2026.

If you are in crisis

This website is not for emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, call 911 or call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) right away, or go to your nearest emergency room.

1. Agreement to These Terms

This website, bostoneveningtherapy.com, is operated by Boston Evening Therapy Associates ("BETA," "we," "us," or "our"). By using this website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Information Only, Not Professional Advice

The content on this website, including articles, blog posts, therapist profiles, and FAQs, is provided for general informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical or mental health advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of a qualified provider with any questions you have about your health or a specific situation.

3. No Therapist–Client Relationship

Viewing this website, reading our content, submitting a form, or contacting us by phone or email does not create a therapist–client relationship. A professional relationship begins only after intake is complete and you have scheduled and agreed to services with a BETA clinician.

4. Licensure and Where We Provide Services

Our clinicians are licensed in Massachusetts. Therapy services, including telehealth, are provided only to clients who are located in states where the treating clinician is licensed at the time of each session.

5. Contacting Us Through the Website

Online forms and email are convenient, but they are not intended for urgent matters and may not be monitored around the clock. Please share only the information needed for us to respond, such as your name, contact details, and the general type of help you are looking for, and save detailed clinical information for your intake or session. Submitting a request does not guarantee an appointment; scheduling depends on clinician availability and fit.

6. Appointments, Fees, and Insurance

Information about insurance, Medicare, private pay, and costs on this site is a general guide. Coverage depends on your specific plan, and fees and policies may change. Our intake team will confirm your coverage and any costs before your first appointment. Any agreement for services is governed by the paperwork and policies you receive at intake, not by this website.

7. Accuracy of Information

We work to keep the information on this site accurate and current, including therapist profiles, specialties, and availability. However, we do not guarantee that all content is complete, current, or error-free, and we may update it at any time without notice.

8. Links to Other Websites

This site may link to third-party websites, such as review platforms, insurance carriers, maps, or resources we find helpful. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those websites.

9. Intellectual Property

The text, images, logos, and other materials on this website belong to Boston Evening Therapy Associates or are used with permission. You may view and share pages for personal, non-commercial purposes, but you may not copy, reproduce, or republish content without our written permission.

10. Acceptable Use

Please do not misuse this website, including by submitting false information, attempting to interfere with its operation or security, or using automated tools to collect its content.

11. Limitation of Liability

This website is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Boston Evening Therapy Associates is not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website or its content.

12. Privacy

Your use of this website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use information submitted through the site.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised. Continuing to use the site after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
