Therapy Approach:

Reaching out for help is a big step for those that have been struggling and fighting on their own with their life events/experiences. My therapy approach is to develop a strong and healthy therapeutic relationship for you to feel safe and confident throughout the healing process. It is crucial that you feel supported and listened to throughout this journey. I’m compassionate and very “hands on” as to teach you and put in action what has been learned to heal, manage and cope with your sxs/stressors. As a provider I use a strength-based approach and believe a person’s unique qualities are valuable and fundamental to being part of therapy.

I believe in therapy, and in how you can evolve and transform with the right support, provider and therapeutic intervention.

Get to Know:

I completed my master’s degree in counseling psychology in October 2014 and I began my mental health counseling career in January 2015. I obtained my independent licensing (LMHC) in 2019. I’m an experienced bilingual therapist (fluent in English and Spanish) which I provide clinical services in. I’ve worked in diverse settings such as outpatient, home based services and worked as a Program Director/Clinical Supervisor.

I specialize in trauma treatment, parenting support, child therapy, and family therapy. I am passionate about the importance of mental health, and I believe that without mental health, there is no health. I also believe “not one model fits all” and that each person requires different tools for their mental well-being, so I work with each person/family to support their unique needs.
