Therapy Approach:

My approach is an individualized one, rooted in acceptance and commitment therapy, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, and psychodynamic theory.

As an experienced integrated behavioral health clinician, I have seen the impact that mental wellbeing has on quality of life. In order to facilitate growth and meaningful change, I strive to create a therapeutic relationship that fosters a sense of self-determination and focuses on what is important to the individual. I utilize a strengths-based approach to maximize the skills and internal resources individuals already possess, while utilizing the therapeutic relationship to evaluate patterns and dynamics that may be moving them away from their goals.

Get to Know:

I completed my master’s degree in social work in 2017 and earned my independent license in 2020. I have spent years working with people experiencing homelessness, those struggling with severe persistent mental illness, and individuals with dual substance use and mental health diagnoses in a variety of settings. I have worked in inpatient palliative care supporting patients in setting goals of care and making decisions for end of life.

This background has grounded me in an eclectic approach to therapy, which allows me to work with each individual to provide a therapeutic experience tailored to their needs.
