Get to Know:

I believe very strongly in creating a collaborative safe space in the therapeutic alliance. A space where clients can explore anything in order to move toward health and wellness.

I have been in practice for 27 years and have learned both through training and directly from clients. I am part of the LGBTQ2S+ community and have training and experience in the unique needs of these clients. I have also worked with veterans and at risk adolescents and young adults.

As a poet, writer, playwright and textile artist, I know how important creativity can be and incorporate this in therapy, if the client feels this will be helpful. Spirituality and the development of meaning and connection can be very powerful to explore in therapy and I assist clients in this area with an open, non-judgmental, inclusive stance.

Most of all, I know that all people can grow, expand, heal and increase wellness and quality of life and that therapy can contribute to this.
