Therapy Approach

I believe that the most important factor in determining success in therapy is building a strong therapeutic alliance based on respect and trust - which I work hard to earn with each of my clients. I build a safe and non-judgemental environment where clients can be themselves completely. My clients are experts in their own experiences and I work collaboratively with them to build on their strengths and identify areas they wish to improve in order to live a healthier and happier life. Just as every person is different, my approach to therapy with each client is individualized and based on their goals, their needs, and their feedback.

I work with both individuals and couples and use elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and others based on client goals and preferences. I believe in the power of relationships to help us all become the best versions of ourselves and I am passionate about helping people build more fulfilling relationships to partners, family members, friends, etc.

One thing that every client working with me will get is laughter. Therapy is hard work and making changes can be very scary - but even in very hard times we can find joy together.
