Therapy Approach

I take an individual approach to therapy. You are your own expert, and my approach is to collaborate with you to gain a deeper understanding of yourself and your experiences.

I use various evidenced-based practices into my therapeutic style to provide the best care possible such as motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral, mindfulness, and dialectical behavioral therapy.

As partners, we will work to create a shared space where you can give voice to your experiences and accept all that you are. Creating these spaces where one can accept themselves, grow from past trauma or loss, and become the person they aspire to be is what makes therapy so inspiring to me and what brings me back each day.

Therapy can be difficult, and I want to create an environment where we can move at a comfortable pace that allows for one to fully process and feel all that comes with therapy.

Approaches I Use

Motivational InterviewingStrengthening your own motivation for change.
CBTCognitive Behavioral Therapy for reshaping unhelpful thought and behavior patterns.
MindfulnessBuilding present-moment awareness and calm.
DBTDialectical Behavior Therapy skills for emotion regulation and relationships.
“I am honored to be allowed access to this chapter of your life and I am grateful for the journey we will go on together.”
