Therapy approach:

I strongly believe that therapy is the best place for people to develop a healthy understanding of themselves. As your therapist, I will be available to assist you in all areas of concern. In order to meet the needs of a client, I will always be part of a team. I will work in unison with you and others that you may consider useful in your treatment, such as a: partner, parent,  sibling, or any other community provider. My therapeutic approach is to provide client-centered treatment to address behavioral, emotional, and interpersonal needs identified by you. My goal as a therapist is not to provide an immediate fix to the identified concerns, but to assist you in developing the tools needed to better manage stressors when they arise. Everyone is worthy of having a safe space where they can creatively navigate their emotions and in turn develop a deeper understanding of themselves.

The beauty of life is that it is our greatest teacher and we, as students, are always changing and adapting to its lessons. It is without saying that these lessons continue to happen over the full life cycle. Some of these lessons can be more difficult to adapt to than others. And it is at that exact moment, that therapy becomes the most useful tool in the toolbox. In therapy, I will always honor your story. I will provide a private, respectful and supportive environment in which you are given the opportunity to flourish. Lastly, the therapeutic treatment that you will receive will be client-centered and most importantly client-driven. I am well-prepared to go along for the ride.
