I have worked with and helped Geriatric clients, as well, with many of their concerns; including Depression, Anxiety, Caregiver concerns.

I have provided Individual therapy, group therapy and family therapy, for many age groups. I encourage a client to express their concerns and interact, but I provide psycho-social education, also, to provide a client with information relevant to their circumstances. i.e. depression, anxiety, substance use, relationship issues and grief and loss, to name a few areas.

I believe in treating others with dignity, respect and compassion. I use an appropriate approach, tailored to the individual client, always starting where the client is, such as Cognitive Behavioral, Reality Therapy, choices, psycho-education and supportive measures. The client and myself will create desired treatment plan goals and work on the client's most pressing needs, as identified by the client. I look forward to working with you, being supportive and empowering you in any way that I can help.

My husband and I enjoy our 4 dogs, walking in the neighborhood, but especially going to the Smoky Mountains, when we can. We enjoy our Family and Christian Church family. I enjoy reading about Mental Health and Substance Abuse issues, Mysteries and Better Homes and Gardens for new recipes to try out.
