Therapy approach
I believe in the transformative power of therapy that can be achieved through building a trusting, therapeutic connection between a client and therapist. I strive to create a safe and nurturing environment that fosters healing, self-discovery and growth. I commend those who are willing to take that critical first step to enter therapy to create meaningful change in their lives. Through a collaborative process, we will examine and uncover self-defeating behaviors and replace them with healthy ways of being.
I tailor my approach individually for each client, drawing on evidenced-based interventions, such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic, Narrative Therapy and Mindfulness-based approaches. I am also bilingual and bi-cultural (English and Russian).

Get to know
I have extensive experience helping clients with end-of life issues, loss and bereavement through my work as a hospice social worker. I also have a deep understanding of the complexities of the various forms of grief and how to help clients work through it. This can best be accomplished by helping the client to gain insight into their feelings, make meaning of the loss, and to reconstruct their lives. It is my privilege to walk alongside people as they journey through their sadness, transition, healing and self-exploration.
