Coping through difficult times
As we begin our blogging journey we hope to create a source of information which is helpful to those who read it and in some way can provide a source of healing, inspiration, hope and learning.
We all experience difficult times, and we all react to them differently based on our past experiences, expectations, beliefs, and ability to cope. Dr. Viktor Frankl, a psychiatrist imprisoned by the Nazis at Auschwitz once said "Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of human freedoms to choose one's attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one's own way."
To change our attitude we will need to change our self-talk to a more positive, less pessimistic, less rigid, thinking pattern in order to cope more effectively with current and future challenges we will face. There are many therapeutic modalities that can help in this regard which we hope to write about for you.
We encourage our readers to give us comments in the comments section below so we will know what content you like, do not like, and would like to see more of.
