Ashra Piterman LCSW, C- DBT Therapist
DBT Group Facilitator
* I am currently finishing my Masters thesis at Harvard Extension School, where my concentration is Psychology and my thesis explores Autistic Women and Masking. I have led several mental wellness support groups, focusing on a range of common struggles such as entering young adulthood, work-life balance, and going through divorce. I am a DBT-informed Clinician and love leading DBT Skills Groups. I also provide independent clinical services using a client-centered approach. My favorite thera techniques involve using cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and of course, dialectical behavior therapy. My long-term goals are to earn a Ph.D in Clinical Psychology, have my own private practice, and become a professor while continuing my research on Autistic Women.“
